Quick Update:
Life in the Royal household is fast and furious. We had so much rain during May that it really backed up my softball schedules. I'm supposed to be playing Tuesday and Thursday nights, but all the early rainouts have forced us into quite a few Friday games as well. Three nights a week of softball and one night a week for poker league is keeping Royal pretty busy!
The Wednesday night league at a local club is going really well. We average just under 16 players a week and usually wrap up our NL HE tournament in around 3 hours. The skill level is low and the fun level is high! This makes for an enjoyable evening and one of the things I look forward to during the week. We've got 10 weeks left before the season banquet and prize distribution. The best part of the league is as an organizer I do not need to pay the league fee. It's not a money making opportunity though. Weekly fees are small and with most typical leagues everyone who plays a minimum number of weeks is eligible for some payout.
Not much to say about online play. I have not put in much time the last month. When I have played it has mostly been the freerolls on Stars attempting to qualify for some of the WCOOP events. I've won a couple of the first events, but have come up short in the second stage events.
Baby Royal is now 7 months old. We are truly blessed!
