FTOPS XII Offer Unique Promotions
The boys at Full Tilt are at it again with some cool new promotions around the FTOPS XII.
First, much like the recent PokerStars SCOOP events there will also be a mini-FTOPS offering smaller buy-in tournaments.
Second, there are several challenges surrounding this FTOPS. How about a free million dollars for cashing in 17 of 25 events? Certainly not an easy feat, but $1 Million free if you do!

Another Poker Room Falls
Much like with the demise of Paradise Poker (at least their original software) I shed a small tear when I read on Gambling911.com that PokerRoom.com was closing down. The longtime face of the Ongame poker network pre-UIGEA has not fared so well the last year and is finally closing up shop.
PokerRoom was one of the first sites to integrate community / social networking aspects into the poker experience. I expect we'll see this even more in the future as world regulations continue to change and Facebook type sites continue to grow. For now, farewell PokerRoom.com.
A 10-year old online poker and casino venture is going out of business. Part of the OnGame Network, PokerRoom.com first opened its doors in 1999. The company notified customers and affiliate partners of its decision to close down.
"I would like to inform you that the option to play poker on PokerRoom and CasinoRoom will be disabled on Tuesday the 14th of April. The remaining players will only have the option to transfer to bwin after they log in."
