Heisman Trophy, Who Cares?
So Reggie Bush gave his Heisman back. Does anyone really care? I'm sure the USC and Reggie Bush fans care a little bit, but beyond that.
I didn't grow up near a Div I college and have never really adopted a college football team to route for. Occasionally there will be a team, coach or player that interests me, and that's it. However, I enjoy college football. I am clearly a fan of the game. The Heisman makes for good water cooler discussion and that's it. I don't care that Mark Ingram won it last year and Reggie giving it back means nothing to me.
Besides providing fodder to Sport's Talk radio the entire discussion is meaningless.
