Back to Vegas in One Week

WTF Tony Dungy
This post has nothing to do with Rex Ryan. At this point Rex is a nobody. I mean, he's loud spoken and entertaining, but at this point he's done nothing as a head coach.
Tony Dungy, on the other hand, is an idiot. I've got nothing against the guy and he seems pretty stand up from everything I've read. His comments about not hiring a guy like Rex are simply ridiculous and reflect poorly on Dungy.
Dungy is one of the worst coaches in NFL history. In spike of his horrible coaching he still managed to win a Super Bowl thanks to one of the greatest quarterbacks ever. Dungy was surrounded by talent and should have won at least one championship in Tampa Bay, perhaps even two or three. He had the most talented team in the league and his lack of cussing caused them to play like fucking babies and repeatedly choke. Luckily, the Tampa owners saw the light and booted sorry ass Dungy to the curb in favor of Chuckie. Jon Gruden swore like a sailer and brought Tampa a championship in no time.
Then Dungy ships his sorry ass to Indy where he once again takes the most talented NFL team and makes them under average come playoff time. Not one fuck or shit left his lips and the Colts followed their pathetic leader into chokeville.
And if fucking up NFL franchise wasn't enough for Dungy he manged to fuck up his own family too. Tony's lack of leadership at home certainly contributed to his son's suicide.
Everywhere he goes non-swearing Dungy creates failure come crunch time. I guess post season mediocrity is fine if regular season domination is what you want for your franchise.
Dungy may be a nice guy, but he is certainly a loser when it really counts.

HP's Mark Hurd Resigns: What's the Real Story
Okay whatever, another rich dude doing something stupid. It's a big story due to his position and company but meh. Wait one second though. He's not resigning because of sexual harassment and HP says he didn't commit any. He's quiting because he apparently improperly used company funds and did not disclose a close personal relationship with a contractor (the one who accused him of sexual harassment). From Business Week:
HP initiated the investigation on June 29 after the contractor made a claim of sexual harassment. The woman, who HP declined to identify, worked on marketing tasks for two years, the company said. The probe found violations of HP’s standards of business conduct, though it didn’t find violations of the harassment policy. Hurd submitted receipts for expenses ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 over two years, including meals and travel, that should have been labeled as personal and not related to business, said a person familiar with the situation.
Okay, so now it's pretty clear what happened. Hurd was banging the contractor and perhaps spoiled her with some company dollars. Once again shocking! A powerful wealthy man has an affair.
But hold on. Now it starts to get really interesting. The contractor has hired a powerful sexual harassment lawyer and is claiming no affair occured. From cnet:
The contractor has retained Gloria Allred of the Los Angeles-based law firm Allred, Maroko & Goldberg as her attorney. Allred confirmed she is representing the woman, who she declined to identify, and also said in a statement that "we wish to make clear that there was no affair and no intimate sexual relationship between our client and Mr. Hurd," throwing the exact nature of Hurd's "close personal relationship" with the woman into doubt.
Okay, WTF? So he had a close relationship, but they weren't screwing? Or at a minimum they weren't "intimately" screwing. Did one of the most powerful CEOs in the world just spend two years lavishly spoiling some babe without getting any action? And when he finally goes for it she slaps him with sexual harassment?
Can you say hustled.
