Reid Pushing Plan to Legalize U.S. Online Gambling
As of now the odds are pretty short, but apparently Harry Reid is attempting to push through a formal regulation of online poker in the U.S. Draft versions of the bill have come under some rather intense scrutiny from the poker community because they include a 15-month blackout period where no online poker would be legal. After that the land based casinos who have first dibs and eventually the Full Tilts and PokerStars would get their crack.
It's not a great bill. However, it might be better than where things are currently headed...
